No, I don't have a 'target'. I respond to discussions when I have something useful or interesting to say, I comment back to people when it's appropriate and continues the discussion in some way and i occasionally post discussions when I have some topic that I feel might interest others.
Since there is NO reward just for posting, it's not constructive to post one inane topic after another in the hopes of getting, maybe one or two replies. Instead, post one to three really good and 'discussable' topics every day. Then you will have a chance to comment on the responses you get in such a way as to continue the discussion.
Those people who merely comment 'Thanks for sharing!' or something like that when I've taken the trouble to write two or three paragraphs in response very soon lose my friendship. Likewise, those who post 'discussion' after 'discussion' very soon get tiresome and I won't even open them after a bit. That kind of post is also more likely to be removed by Admin, so what would be the point?

by 50 posts do you mean submitting 50 discussions in one day?
