Would you be happier if you were rich?

Someone asked this question today and I answered automatically that I would be happier. As an after thought, I asked myself if I am happy now that I am not rich, and yes I am happy. I would just be happier if I could afford everything that I want. Those shoes that I like, that dress, some kinds of food and that house that I like. I am happy though that I was taught to be contented with what I have no matter how little.

if my friends were rich too, then yeah, being rich alone in kind of boring.

No, happiness is not proportional to wealth... It's just one of the factors

I guess with money, there is a price that one has to pay. Don't know which price, but I am sure there's one. If I were asked that question, I would say no. I'd much rather work hard, and have the possibility to buy myself all I want. I don't wanna pay anything for the wonderful wish I would make. LOL But I have felt like you before.
