No one is ever going to love us the exact way we have imagined all through our life. No one will ever read our mind, and do the things that we expect them to and make us happy. No one is going to make your life look like a fairy tale, and everything will turn out to be perfect after a set of suffering.... May be that's why all around the world people are choosing themselves over anything else. We have to love ourselves enough, so that the others love will just add a cherry on the cake... But that cake is suppose to be made by you... This is the recent wisdom I received from my instructor during meditation class...

We're not perfect. We use the mirror to make ourselves look pleasant and acceptable to others. The best mirror of what we are is the other person or a member of the family. They react in our attitudes and actions whether we are good or bad through their interactions.

True, we aren't perfect, we all are flawed. This mirror theory is something that I am not able to understand fully....

Yes...this is the true practical reality of life. Most of us fail to realize it and even if we do it is just too late.

Yes, that is the real life, no one will be there to make us happy, if any one appears that should be treated as a bonus.

Over doing it can led to a Trump-like narcissism. Self-love tend to shut out everyone else.

Self love is fine only till a certain limit, if you tend to behave selfish and self centered, that is surely not great thing to go for....

There is a saying that God helps those who help themselves. So we have to be ready even when we are on receiving end.So your love and respect and the very idea of it begins with you only.

Yes, I do understand. I am always saying that you are the lonely true person that can make you happy. And, you can not love anyone else until you love yourself.
