I try to do my dishes after the meals, I can't stand seeing dishes in the sink.

I feel the same. I have a hard time understanding some people just letting them pile up.

That's a good practice. There are times that I do it but most of the time I just let it sit there for awhile.

I don't mind washing dirty dishes. We do have a dishwasher, but I prefer washing the pots and pans by hand. Its relaxing when it is finished and the kitchen is back in order again.

@1hopefulman Oh yes, he always helps me unless he beats me to the sink, in which case, he always washes as well as dries them. He will give me a break every now and again and do them entirely.

I don't like tons of dishes, so every after a meal I wash the dishes because when I see that there's a lot of dishes I'm starting to feel bored or tired to clean that

Yes, if we don't do them after every meal, they pile up and then it becomes a real boring job to wash them. I had two jobs where I was a dishwasher. One in a pizzeria and one in a cafeteria.

@1hopefulman That is correct, that's why every after a meal I cleaned it. Oh, I see that! So do you wash it immediately once there's an empty plate?

Our dishes go into the dishwasher immediately after use and the kitchen is cleaned immediately, too. We are neat freaks.. The only things washed by hand are pots, good crystal, good china, and sterling silver or pewter.

@1hopefulman Thanks Felix. I am doing a lot better than before. Yes I do like to have a clean sink but there are some nights I don't do the dishes. If I am taking care of my granddaughter thean I am only here for one meal. There are so few dishes that I won't waste the water and all to do them. How re you doing?
