No Pilates today

This morning was wonderful and beautiful to walk to the gym for water aerobics class in flops and spring jacket. Perfect walking weather to have a partial sunny day with temps in the 60s. The morning workout in the heated pool was what I needed since I skipped class on Friday. My friend Cheryl gave me phone number to call her for rainy/stormy/snowy weather this summer and this fall. She would pick me up and take me home as long as she's not busy driving her grandkids. So I have to call her the night before if the weather sticks. There's no class next Monday, due to the holiday and the local parade to block traffic. Normally there's a sub, but my instructor wasn't able to get one, and there's not many people to go to class. I'm taking that day off from class too. As for passing on Pilates, I had an issue with my cable box last night. First it was the On Demand program guide was unavailable. Then I rebooted it first with the remote and then manually. It kept on recycling and giving me the Spectrum logo on the TV on and off, turning my DVR on and off too. I called Spectrum last night--they ruled out an outage, but they said it was a cable box issues. Since 8 PM last night, it's been the same way with no change. I was able to get a 5-6 PM slot for this afternoon before it was filled out for today to replace it. Since I have to be home to confirm my appointment, I'm staying here to wait for that call within an hour and my text alert. I wished this didn't happen to ruin this gorgeous afternoon. As for next Monday's Pilates class, there might not be class when the gym closes at 5 PM. But I'll know more in a few days if there's a sign posted on the door or a text alert if that's the case.
