Define Irony: Whining About "the rich" on a Personal Computer or Cell Phone...

Class warfare warriors forget one major detail. If it wasn't for "the rich" they hate so much they wouldn't have things like cell phones, personal computers, HDTVs or even safety features on their cars. First of all, all those advances in technology came because of the military industrial complex. The technology for cell phones and HDTVs were developed specifically because Military Commanders wanted better, more secure communications and monitors that didn't take up so much space and heat up already over heated command centers. But more to the point, the first generations of any technology on the open market is majorly expensive. The first VCRs cost a few thousand dollars. The cassette tapes for them were over $100 each. Yes, when Star Wars was first released on VHS and Beta it was a couple of hundred dollars to buy. So next time you want to whine about "the rich" make sure you're doing it on a medium you don't owe it to the rich that you have it at all. You might even find it in your heart to show a bit of gratitude. ;~D

Certainly. We shouldn't hate on anyone. I think the rich and the poor complement one another well. Without the poor, the rich would not have an outlet to do good like charity and etc. The give back moment will never be there at all..

I agree, everyone in society has value. The poor can be charitable and the rich can be needy. Class warfare is useless bigotry because it teaches us that some people aren't worth helping and others aren't able to help. Both are lies.

Yes, technology evolution is fascinating, The is, if "the rich" don't buy the technology when they are very expensive, the technology never make it to a price the middle income can afford.

@ParaTed2k This is very true. When we learn about technology every person likely to catch up with richer person. Its seems to be leveling ourself with others. As the technology evolve or introduce in the market. the the better the quality the richer are likely to purchase

Millennials worship at the altar of billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. I don't see him spreading the wealth and having needy immigrants camp on his estates. He just tries kicking Hawaiian natives off land and hiring cheaper foreign workers.

Oh, that's another point well made. The Left automatically absolves itself of not living up to its own rules while holding the opposition to an impossible standard. Read Saul Alinki's "Rules for Radicals" to understand why.
