I Love God's Green Earth!

This afternoon I had a wonderful relaxing day out in my garden. Adam came out with me as he's trying to get a new pond up and running for our 20 odd fish. I cut the lawn and got that lovely fresh mown smell. I then decided to take a few cuttings. I noticed that my rosemary bush has some new growth so took a couple of cuttings from there and a few from my sage plant. As you can imagine, the smell was gorgeous. I then noticed my pinks were doing rather nicely so quickly snipped a few cuttings from there. I had three lupin plants in pots that were looking a bit cramped so I decided to risk it and put them in the garden. I'm just hoping our little cat Dusky doesn't decide to dig them up and use them as toilet paper! She does have a habit of pooping in the garden and digging up the plants around her! I'm now sitting here with my laptop on my lap enjoying the sound of the birds singing and the bees buzzing. What more could I ask for in life?

I've been out there again today as it's lovely and warm here in the east of England and, for the first time this year, I've seen butterflies in the garden as well as a newt and a couple of frogs. Just hope the frogs don't come into contact with our cat, Ollie. He loves catching them!
