What are some of your goals as being a mother & have you achieved any of them?

You're probably not a bad mother and the fact that you're concerned about it shows you really want to be a good mother. I have grown children and grandchildren. The best advice I can give you is to love them by teaching them to love God, respect authority, learn God's plan for their lives, and to treat others the way they want to be treated. They'll try to push your rules, but they need boundaries, even when they won't admit it. Welcome to myLot!

I am a grandfather and wanted to welcome you to myLot! Being a parent is a challenge and a joy. We are so happy when our children turn out well.

Many times I would feel stressed of doing so much work for my kid. But every time it strikes me easily that -" as of now, my kid is dependent on me. If she had a chance to do the work on her own, she will do. There are stages in life where she will take care of herself. As such, today - I'm being appointed as a care taker for her by the almighty and I should do my best to her." I keep thinking of these in my mind and all the burden would just fly and I get motivated. This is just enough for me to keep doing all the silly works for my kid and ofcourse with a grace. As a mother, we should lay a perfect foundation for our kids. Their character would be moulded by whatever we sow now. =)

I am not a mom, but feel obliged to answer this post. Me thinks a good mom is selfless and very compassionately driven to serve their kids willingly. Serve meaning to lead by example, to guide; cherish and nurture. I especially have a deep respect for single parents/mom who juggle everything for their kids' happiness and comfort..

I think being a single mother is the hardest job ever !! i'm sure you're going to be just fine !! good luck with everything you do.
