TV Channels vs Streaming Services

I have Amazon Prime for last 2 years and netflix for last 10 months. I have started to realize that by choosing the streaming service I am saving more of my time.
Lot of TV channels are so recurring with their shows. Like some channels air the same old movies for last few years. Same kind of TV show dramas etc.
Streaming channel apps give better control over filtering this stuff.
I am glad I am not wasting my time and money into the TV anymore.

I've been thinking about whether I should even keep netflix. I don't use it all that often and it seems like a moneypit. I haven't gotten rid of it though because sometimes I do feel like watching it. I did get rid of Amazon because it was becoming a moneypit.
To each their own, I'm glad you like the services you use.

We got rid of regular TV and now we have Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. I don't feel like we're missing out on anything. We have all three because of the differing desires in the family. None of us are missing out and all of us watch less mindless TV.
