Worry for a daughter

May 23, 2019 6:27pm CST
I worry constantly for my parents. Both have heath issues. My dad had cancer and is in remission but he also has undiagnosed bipolarism. My mom has congestive heart failure and kidney disease which requires her to be on dialysis 3 times a week. As a daughter I try to be strong for them and not show them my fear and worry for their health issues. I guess I need to talk to someone to get this worry and fear worked through or just someone who understands where I'm coming from.

I have been in your shoes before. Be the best loving daughter for both of them, that is all you can do.

@Frenchie2009 You have to be strong for them. I have lost mine, so take it from me, you will never regret this time with them.

It's hard to face those fears alone. It's a difficult situation, and I admire you for being strong. Yes, you should have someone beside you that can help you face those fears. You need an outlet. As for your parents, show them that, despite everything you still love and support them.

@Frenchie2009 Yes, be strong for them. Let yourself be the source of their strength.

I just don't want to add to their worries that's why I don't let them see how it affects me

He's not officially diagnosed and we can't get him to go get diagnosed . But his nurses when he was going through chemo all say he shows the classic signs

It's really hard for us, to see our parents are sick and we can't do anything for them
