~I Have Been Studying~

Hey everyone I hope you're doing amazing! =) Things only last for a season, this too shall pass. Remember that! While you are going through the storm-you are not alone! I know it may sound crazy but I have been taking online courses on how to talk to people at my sessions. You see, offline I'm more on the shy side and I do NOT want to make things awkward for people at all. I know the first 20 minutes on a session is always weird but after that I want to help my clients feel confident and comfortable. So...I am learning...a LOT. I have learned things I would have never thought of before taking these courses. So glad I took them! With time and practice I will also get better with the "people side of things". I love people, I'm just a bit reserved which at times comes off as weird/awkward/stuck up and none of those are appealing in any way! Have you learned something new lately?? @BelleStarr That's a good point! My kids are lucky being Home Schooled since they do get to choose many things they want to learn. =)

@LovingMyBabies It is very different when you learn things that you choose and not things that are forced on you.

I am much like you are offline. I was extremely shy growing up but have gotten better the older I get. I am much better one on one than I am with a bunch of people.

I would have never guessed you as Quiet shy and reserved, But I am sure there are reasons and God is molding you for something great. Mine is learning to Trust God more. With my health issues and the rescheduled upcoming surgery there have been doubts, but I know and believe God is in control.

@Krausehome Yes, I am. Always have been but better about it as an adult than I was as a child. God's got this and He definitely has reasons for everything that's going on. Maybe, God is lining up the absolute best surgeon for you or maybe there's a nurse that needs Jesus and He will use YOU for them to find Him. There's always a reason! I am praying for you!

@Leapea2417 I know it sounds crazy, I get it but I've never really learned it or practiced it-never really needed to until now. I'm just not a naturally outgoing, social butterfly.

Thats good you have those to help you. I am shy in person too, until I really get to know you and feel comfortable with you. But i also dont like people. Or being around many people. *shrugs.

@Courtlynn Thanks I knew I needed help in that area! Yes you and I are alike in the shy department. I didn't like people much before Jesus.

I think that is just wonderful that you are building your skills. There are so many aspects and skill sets needed to be the 'right' photographer. The use of props, music, backdrops and general easiness with people. I'm sure that you have all of these skills, its great that you are perfecting them.

@Juliaacv Thank you! I want to be as good on every level with photography-not just one aspect of it. My backdrop is always nature but I do have some new props that I'm excited about! =) Easiness with people is definitely why I took the course. I'm always nice but I seem to run out of things to say...and I dont want things being weird. Lol.

I think that no matter where we are in our life journey, we should be learning. To learn is to grow, and to grow is to live. I feel that the day we stop learning is the day we stop living life. Glad to hear you are learning so much from your classes.
