Mermaids WIP 1

Oh my gosh what did I get myself into? So in the drawing community or any creative community, I suppose we do a thing called "Mer-May" a lot of people draw mermaids of all kinds every day. Some draw just a few elaborate pictures of mermaids. It is just something to keep the creative juices flowing and really step out of comfort zones. And...This really is out of my comfort zone because I am drawing characters I am not used to drawing. The characters I am working on are from an anime called My Hero Academia. So even though I am obsessed with that anime, I have only drawn two characters before from that show and that show has a lot of characters....like too many. But I love them all. And I couldn't just pick a few of my favorite characters for this drawing, no, nooo. I had to do the ENTIRE class of 20 students, plus All Might (which of course is the blonde guy in the picture, isn't he cute?) Their teacher, and an extra student, so that is 23 people. (Also while writing this I actually forgot one of the students in my outline, I am a failure, I am very sorry Sato, I am the worst). So yeah there is a lot going to be happening in this drawing and thankfully everyone else will not be as hard to draw as All Might. Seriously, boy took me way too long to draw and color and then I decided to do scales on his tail, so appreciate those. I have so much to do but I know this is going to be an awesome drawing once I'm done. I am so excited!
