We had a surprise Sunday morning visitor here. I went out to feed the chickens and on the way to the chicken coops, I scanned the field. I noticed a large bird in the yard and at first thought, it was a buzzard.
Upon further investigation, I noticed it was a wild turkey, a hen. We have had a hen that struts along the road the road in the past. I have only seen one so far this season.
When she noticed me she went into the woods. I am hoping that she will visit again. I will throw out some corn for her to feast on and see if that does the trick.
How is your Sunday going?

We see turkeys from time to time...and a rare fox and some deer. My Sunday is very quiet.
