The European election is over and populists on both sides win big

So the European elections are over and in the United Kingdom dominated.by Nigel Farage's new one issue party, The U.K Brexit Patty, that won 31% of the vote with the Liberals getting 20% in second. The other big winners on the night were the Greens, empowered by the recent Extinction Rebellion protest about global warming and backing a second referendum. If you add up the votes for parties backing Brexit versus backing Remain it was a clear win to Remain, taking over the line by the Scottish National Party, who backed Remain, as did most of Scotland although the SNP vote was up just 1% on the 2014 elections so no real increased Brexit vote. With the British PM standing down next month the next PM still has to figure a way through Brexit, The mandate is there for a second vote but the big two parties, the Tory's and Labor, fear losing a million votes each of they back the second vote, letting the new parties win more votes.
