Do You Remember Captain Kangaroo?

The photo is a 1960's Captain Kangaroo cup. It was one of my husband's childhood toys. It's about 4 inches tall. I did some research and learned that they came in several different colors.
I think the google eyes make it look a little creepy! LOL
The bottom of the cup says "Robert Keeshan Assoc". Keeshan was the actor who played Captain Kangaroo on the popular tv show.
Wikipedia says that it was the longest running children's program of its time. It aired from 1955-1984.
I watched it almost every morning before school in the 1960's, from Kindergarten- 3rd grade (approximately).

my young'uns watched him 'n mr. rogers once we'd a t.v. i 'gree, those googly eyes're somethin', lol. 'twas the craze back'n the day though.
