Welcome to myLot. You can see which discussions get the most responses and likes if you go to 'Explore' and look at the 'Top Rated' and 'Hot' discussions lists. Personally, I rarely do that and stay for most of the time with the 'Most Recent' listing. You should also acquaint yourself with the things which you should NOT do here (quite a short list, as it happens, and mostly obvious). You'll find that in the Community Guidelines under "Help" in the menu beneath your username on the left.

You can ask for suggestions for something you believe most of the people can advise. Also , I have noticed extension of travel talks in different threads very frequently. Maybe in order to start a discussion you are more willing but you can also strike a conversation with someone on a topic being already discussed about.Punch that 'Explore' button and your journey would start ....
