That ghostly hand clasp of yours made me shudder Where was the warmth in your soul Did it ever exist at all Black as the house of spades was your soul You were mean a real mean creep Such was the heart of you if you ever had one Mr. Uriah Heep Such blackness inside Grasping at every penny you could ever get Your false humility wore with me not I could see right through you Sir Your humble servant sir was your quip and your quote Along with a grasping together of those creepy hands Sought to rob people of their soul and their lands This is clip about Mr. Uriah Heep who was played by Frank McClusker a masterful performance to be sure. From the film of David Copperfield made in 2000.
Shaun Davey's music accompanies this scene from David Copperfield, the Hallmark production directed by Peter Medak.

Ohh I love that book and David character. And so much as I adore David himself and his generosity and kindness, I cannot tolerate that fishy cold-blooded Uriah. The most detestable character

@lovinangelsinstead21 I liked the ending of the story, that David and Agnes stayed together. Dickens is an amazing in the way he gives their characters happiness and comfort in the end after all those sorrows and hardships they went through.

Uriah Heep was based on a character I guess one that would seem like out of a horror film which I never watch anyway. I admire the performance the actor give as he portrays the character true to life.
