I belong to a few snake i.d. groups on Facebook so i could educate myself about snakes in my area. One of the more dangerous is the Coral snake and i shared a photo of one of my Coral snake door draft blockers.
I was notified by a lady who teaches classes and travels around with different snakes, and ordered one of my Coral snakes! So awesome that it will be used as a teaching tool.

That is really awesome! I have a friend who joined a snake education group on FB herself. I should probably do the same so I can identify which ones I need to run and scream from and which ones I need to run and scream from. Dangerous or not, I son't like the nope ropes.

@Debscrochet Well it's good you havent' seen any venomous ones. A local news anchor killed a snake not too long ago. She did so inadvertently, but she didn't realize it either. She let it back into the wild after it had sustained an injury, but the injury was fatal. She posted about it on social media and a lot of people blew up at her for letting it back out in the wild instead of calling the proper authorities to get it help.
