Well, you would say, I know how to sew you know. I have sewn this and that, you can't tell me how to do it, I am sure it is very easy.
So, was I thinking that too ? Yes, I was thinking, I do know how to sew. But sewing a corset is " another pair of sleeves" , my mom would say. So did I struggled with it, yes, I finally I am now to take a class on the subject, right !
Anyway, enough said now, and lets do more practice and practice and than I will be able to say I know what I am doing in that department. For sure it is not like sewing any kind of usual garments, and new patterns of nowadays believe me. But it worth the try and yes, I do like it.
Corsetery seems to be making a re-surging in U.K and across Europe. Lots of info on that . Women learn how to make their own corset from left and right. Good skills to achieve when you don't like the bras that they sell in Wallmart.

Used a lot of boing when working with wedding gowns, prom dresses and bridesmaids dresses. I think I removed more boing then I added. I have found the Warners bras without boing to be the most comfortable to wear. No corset for me.

@beenice2 some boing is vital to the dress....some causes a lot of irritation. I have removed boing from bras because it poked. Boning isn't supposed to poke.
