Hello, all ! I had to get up early this morning, and knowing that, my body got me up hours before I needed to be (think I woke up around 3 am?). I needed to leave the house early because I needed to walk down to the shopping center bus stop so that I could catch a bus to take me across town so I could get to work by eight a.m. Of course, as runs in the genes of most of my immediate family, I left the house earlier than I needed to and got to work twenty minutes earlier than needed to if not half an hour. Oh, well. I hadn't been to that childcare center in quite some time, so I sort of felt like a fish out of water--I wasn't sure how they were running things anymore. I suppose fortunately the teacher I worked with told me that they'd be having an "outside day" today--and the children did most of everything they normally did inside, outside -- like circle and eating snack and lunch. I was glad I got to go today, as it was one of the kids' last day (he'll be going to Kindergarten). When his mom came to pick him up today, she had two roses for each teacher (I took a photo of mine, above). To top it off, the other teacher took care of most of everything. I felt kind of weird about that--but like my boss' mom, who drove me home said, I was watching the kids, and that was something. It just felt weird. Anyway, I'm home now, and have walked and fed Angel. There was nothing in the mail that I really needed to pay close attention to (like bills) and there were no messages on the answering machine. I will likely have the same dinner tonight that I had last night, as there was plenty left over. I hope that you have all had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
