Here in my country we celebrate a lot of occasions not only Christmas, New Year but these also includes celebrating the feast day of saints. In every place, there's that day of the year when the community celebrate it. The celebration calls for a lot of food to be prepared and to be shared with all of the visitors. Today, we've got a hundred plus visitors and we prepared salads, seven different dishes or viands, we have some pasta and fruits. In our family, this is our one form of giving back all of the blessings that we have received. Filipino Mylotters will attest to how fun filled celebrating fiesta is. Some foreigners have the same experience too and by the way it is not purely about food there are also loads of activities that makes celebrating it more merrier.

@rakski I have my cousins in Manila and they said that also. If ever they're not busy they usually go here in the province to celebrate fiesta with us.

@kixsh101 too far. Here in Manila, the tradition of having fiesta is not celebrated by all nowadays
