Whoa. The other day, the price for the plate I had on ebay was a hundred and sixty nine dollars and change. I went to see how much the plate finally went for--not expecting it was much more than the last time that I looked, and I had to almost pick my jaw up off of my desk. The plate had gone for two hundred and eighty dollars. The last person to bid on it had only bid once at the end of the auction. Wowee. To top it off, the person who bought it is in England, so the shipping price is substantial, too. Thank You, Lord, You knew I needed the money...
