I survived!

There are places I observed some people are surviving without spending their money. I, myself living in a village, not to worry about what to eat for tomorrow. What I do is to plant vegetables in my garden instead of flowering plants to display just to see their homes beautiful. I find more amazing when all my pots are planted vegetables. When my neighbors saw my garden, they are all amused. And I am very proud of it. The best part is, I am giving away my veggies for free to those who can't afford to buy in the market.

While growing up, my family never had to go to the grocery store for produce. I am sure I could name every tomato planted! Also, peppers, onions, garlic, lettuce, etc. Flowers were around our house.

@Spontaneo i live in province, but not too far from the city. Not city like new york city. They call city but not big. Maybe, your way of living is different from ours. You have a big lot, right? I have only 100 sq.mtr lot.

I plant vegetables, too, instead of flowers. When I say "garden" most people assume flowers, and while I like them, if I'm going to plant, weed, water and take care of a plant, I'm going to eat it! I give away produce, too. I think that's part of gardening.

@Jfronda82 I didn't mean "weed" like that. I meant to remove unwanted plants (weeds) from around the plants I want to grow.

@peavey oh! I apologize for that. I understand the wrong way. It is so nice giving away what you produced in your garden. It feels really fulfilling when you help someone.

Hahaha. Weed is fine but it is not legal here. I encourage my neighbors to plant veggies in there garden. And they like it. :)
