After going several weeks without rain, we've been having some pretty severe thunderstorms lately. Right now, as I write this comment, we are under a flash flood warning from heavy storms. Fortunately, we won't get the severe flooding that you have in your area, but I know all too well what it's like to deal with floods. I hope your flood waters recede very soon. Oh, can I jump in the shower with you? I'll help you wash your hair!

At least you are safe. My day was busy..I had to go to the city and then drive west of here to drop off my car..hopefully it will be ready tomorrow..well it better be! I need it.

i hope ya remain high'n dry, hon. there's been so much loss 'n sufferin' due to the floodin' all o'er the world't seems. hopefully yer gonna get a chance to dry out soon. i feel fer all who've lost their worldly possessions 'n worse, those who've lost their lives. a tad'n the warm side here, sun shinin', birds singin', bit 'f a breeze blowin'. i'm fixin' to head out'n tackle more weeds, check the gardens (i get giddy o'er those first blossoms 'f edibles) 'n perhaps get a bit 'f grasses trimmed with the weed eater (can't get a mower'nto my back yard 's the gate 'tis too narrow...).

You are right, the most important are human lives, but it is difficult when people lose animals, houses ... We are not a rich country and it is very difficult to stand on our feet again. I'm glad you have a nice day.

@Nevena83 I see in the picture. Floods are no fun. I was in one in an apartment building I lived in. I lived in the basement and all basement apartments were flooded and I was inside. I was sleeping.

@Nevena83 I did not have time to react. I had to think what to do. The firemen broke the window to get me out. The water was in the middle of the door. My couch floated up and my car was in the front and floated up. It was a freaky thing. I move to an apartment on a hill and had a nightmare that it was flooding there so went to open the door and nothing was going on.
