By way of my daughter trying to take me away from my ordinary chores, she asked to be accompanied to the mall to meet a friend.
UP Town's ambiance makes one feel special, as if I am elite and not like the shabby Franciscan lifestyle of which I follow.
After the meet-up, my daughter decided to watch The Dark Phoenix, an X-Men installment.
Wow!. I was given a real treat. The theater was 4D and I did feel I was up in space with the X-Men.
So, I went along with the story, feeling I was the Dark Phoenix dying and undergoing a rebirth, It was wonderful, with some cheesy puffs I did partake while the seats were swiveling.
I have liked X-Men ever since the Marvel comics mutation heroes came to the silver screen. But I did tell my daughter that these characters have not changed three decades now. The gang, I said, were older than her.
My daughter simply said The Dark Phoenix needs a rebirth,
Have you seen he movie? I can spoil you if you like.
This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic DARK PHOENIX. During a life-threatening rescue mis...

@rsa101 Nope. I actually like the normal screen, and the still seats. The 4D shakes the head. And the water sprinkles was kinda cold, the origin of which is even questionable to me.

I would have settled with the ordinary movie house but my daughter is so fuzzy, wanting to see the littlest details. Says action movies must be appreciated fully.,
Enjoy the Phoenix.

@eileenleyva Oh... That's so bad to hear that. I hope at least the ending will not be sad.

Marvel fans are difficult to please. They have all sorts of ideas about characters and plots.
I love this installment because it is a continuation, and somehow, a conclusion. If you decide to watch, prepare for sad scenes.

This is Twentieth Century Fox's final installment, I believe, and Marvel has bought the franchise, I think. That means a whole new take on the X-Men.
Still interesting, this installment is. The Phoenix is an enigma, and this lead character Jean Grey is
definitely one.

Not my type of movie; but I'll bet the moving seats were something.

Yes. The movie is action-packed and I was holding on to my cheese puffs, lest I drop my snacks.
I had to keep up-to-date with the millennials. In the beginning, the children were interested in mutation but the characters have evolved. There are intrapersonal struggles. The battle of good versus evil was actually the thematic scheme.
