I got more than I expected for them

Yesterday I told you that I was going to go try to sell some adult coloring books. Well I went today and I ended up getting more for them than I expected to. I got $24.xx for them. I turned around and went to goodwill again and so it pretty much evens out.
Yesterday I spent around $18.00 at goodwill, I got $24.00 today. I spent $30 at goodwill today. So I essentially made a $4.00 profit, which is fine by me.
I got a pair of jeans (I didn't feel like trying on a bunch of pairs so I picked out one that I thought would fit, tried them on and then looked for more shirts) and the rest were shirts.
That's just my morning. Now I need to get to work for the rest of the day. How is your day going?

@amadeo Thank You. I haven't been able to spend any money lately. All of it has gone towards bills and necessities, I'm trying to make enough to spend a bit more as well. Especially as birthdays and holidays are coming up.

I thought so to. The store I sold them to does not allow you to negotiate so I would have had to take whatever they offered. I was glad they offered the $24.00.

Yeah, I was happy and surprised all in one. I was not expecting to make that much. They did give me back two of my items, but that's okay. Here lately I've been looking around to see if there is anything else I don't need / could be selling them. Every little bit helps especially as I want to / need to save for some things.

@simone10 That's a good way to look at it. I gave myself two weeks for the rest of my adult coloring books. I got rid of the rest. Well, some are in a bag ready to go to my aunts for her to give to her grandbabies.

@amitkokiladitya They are pre-owned jeans, and that is why. Of course, as long as they are in good condition and I can go home and wash them, I do not mind.

Very nice you were able to make a profit on your coloring books. I have just been doing online stuff. The weather outside is not very pleasant.

We are supposed to have a weekend (and today) of rain and storms. It does look a bit overcast here. I was surprised about getting $24.00 for them. I could have gotten $48.00 if I wanted it all in credit, but I didn't.
I have more but I am giving them to my little second cousins to enjoy. It's going to be summer and so I am hoping they'll have fun with them and all the supplies I am giving them.
I'm getting started on my online stuff for the day.
