Shrimp Success

I rarely cook but when I do, I try to over exert. This is my shrimp recipe. It has butter, sprite, pomelo leaves, garlic, onion, cheese, and of course shrimps. I am practicing a lot of cooking these days because I’m preparing for when I move in with my partner when I go back to the UK. Everyone liked my cooking. I didn’t expect that given that I’m admittedly not a domesticated person. Looking forward to try out other recipes.

It’s very good for you. It is a good source for collagen and good skin.

@flapiz Is it true? I don't think I need it for my skin which is as rough as the skin of a carabao.

sprite...like the soda? interesting, did it make it sweeter?

Yeah sprite like the soda for a sweeter taste. Also helps tone down the shrimp smell.

Yes apparently Thai people put it in some dishes so I tried it with mine to get rid of the oily after taste of the butter. My partner is French and is now in France. But we want to meet half way and rellocate to UK eventually.

@hereandthere We have pomelo on the backyard. I water them every afternoon so I asked it for some baby leaves. I’m not sure it’s in Filipino market. Well he still needs qualification so he can move in with me to UK.

So you're now in Australia? It's been a long while since I've seen you here. We're passing by Tagbilaran tomorrow on our way to Cebu for our general medical exam for our visa application.

Same here. That’s why I’m glad I have a French boyfriend. We share a superb love for cheese.

Add it at the end of the cooking so it doesn’t turn bitter. It helps get rid of oily after taste.
