So today one of our neighbors went around the neighborhood and gave our little boxes of Baklava. The older man had his 3 grandkids helping. I thanked them for there gift and gave them all a warm smile. These neighbors moved in two years ago and they give during the holidays small gifts as tokens. Two of my kids can’t eat them so me and my husband have been eating them here and there. We have two pieces left and we have enjoy each piece of Baklava give to us.

@ShyBear88 That one looks like it has meat in it. I have tried it before and really did not like it.

That was very nice of your neighbors to do that! You don't see that happening too much anymore, where neighbors help each other out and give gifts and food and such! I was really lucky that when I moved into my current neighborhood 3 years ago, every one of my neighbors brought over food as a welcoming gift. I was really touched, and it really set the tone for being a good neighbor. I try to return the favor to everyone when I can, and we all seem to pitch in and help each other out when needed.
