Selling Flags before Independence day

Philippines
June 8, 2019 11:24pm CST
Some one shared a post today about a flag being sold at the park. my first thought was United Nations day is far off this year. But then I noticed they were ONLY selling Chinese flags and Independence day is three days from now. Looks like the brains of this operation were the same as the one who posted a tarpaulin stating "welcome Philippines province of china" logo on it. Sounds like another protest to me. But I already have my Phil flag displayed for a while now.

Since you are from the Phillipines, you should be proudly displaying your Phillipines flag.

It is a sad reality. Many Filipinos lack patriotism. I hope teachers could inculcate patriotism in the minds of the next generation. But children today admire too many foreign stuff. It will take a lot of time and effort to change their attitude. And now, China is slowly making moves on our country. I hope the government would do something to avoid it.
