143-Year Old Church Molds Me of What I Am Today

Revisiting the century-old Church in this modern time.
Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Catholic Church caught my attention tonight while I was looking for an open store selling butane fuel for our mini LPG stove.
This Church was constructed in 1876 with Romanesque architectural design. I took her grandiose picture illuminated by several flag lights to let her look majestic by using my smartphone.
This Church had given me prestigious award as the winner in the writing contest, local dialect category when she celebrated her 100 years in 1970. That was 49 years ago.
That's great! I am just revisiting the past in this modern time.

That's a lovely picture. A century old church and still standing so well.

The last time I went into a church and spent time there was in the 1950s in the famous/infamous 5th Avenue Catholic church and I was shocked at the amount of money spent on a place for people to worship when G-d is available everywhere!
