Back from a hot morning's walking and bus riding....

I did a bit more walking than I had planned to, as when I got to the shopping center bus stop, I was looking in my purse for my bus card and realized that I was out of checks, and didn't have the money to pay to ship my package (the reason I was out anyway). So, I hoofed it down to the next shopping center, about a block away, and stopped at the bank to get some cash. After that, I had to walk back across the street, because when I got to the bus stop over there, I wanted to be sure I was going the right direction. I went to the post office, did my business, then walked down the road and across the street again so that I could be sure I was going back the other direction, then I went back to the shopping center bus stop, the bus I needed was already there, and I took it back to the street where I walk the rest of the way home. I looked at the temperature for my town here on line, and it says ninety-two degrees. I haven't looked, but I'll bet the thermometer on the back deck says it's hotter than that. I texted my boss to see when she wanted me to work again, and not long after I got home she called me. She said at least tomorrow 12p - 4p. Right now, I need to go and find something for lunch and then do Bible study, and then hopefully I'll get something else done around the house.
