The weather is just right for tea and pakoras

It is tea time here and it is cloudy outside with a slight drizzle. Feel like having a hot cup of tea and pakoras
We have onions, potatoes, chilies and gram flour. We will soon have pakodas which will be eaten with tomato ketchup and ofcourse a hot cup of tea.
Come join me. I will be ready in half an hour.

@SIMPLYD They are individually deep fried Onions are made into rings and clumped together. Chillies are deep fried whole and potatoes are sliced You can use any vegetable.

You mashed the cooked potato, then slices the chillis, onions, then put the flour and mix them together and form them in long strips and fry. Am I right ?

I am afraid I can not join you as I am not eating any carbohydrates at the moment. I do like Pakora and dip them in a nice sweet chilli dip! I would have mine with coffee though! I liked the way they made the coffee in the hotels in Tamil Nadu. They called it Indian coffee. When I asked for coffee they gave perculated coffee I said no I want Indian coffee it was so much nicer! Bon appetite and enjoy!

I am a tea drinker and coffee with pakoras would also be a great combination. When the weather beckons you I suppose carbohydrates are forgotten (lol)

@allknowing Yes we are now supposedly in Summer. It was a manky 11C yesterday even the heating came on!

just looked online to see what a pakora is sounds deliscous and tasty anything fried is good. seems like it would be a good snack item.
