A support dog that was missing in Kansas City has a happy ending

The Kansas City (Missouri Police were happy to report the good news last Wednesday afternoon that a female dog named Abby who is an emotional support dog for her owner had been kidnapped by someone who is still on the loose. The incident happened in Kansas City one afternoon when Abby was in the backyard of her owner's home when someone kidnapped her while her owner was taking a shower. The police officers were able to report that after two hours of the disappearance of the dog, Abby was reunited with her owner who need her services since the owner of the dog is either a first responder, a former law enforcement officer or a combat veteran who Is suffering from depression. Not to second guess the owner but since it is likely that the backyard of his or her home may not have a secure entrance to the backyard, the person who kidnapped Abby must have had an easy way to get inside the backyard. Thanks goodness Abby is back with her owner after a two hour period of separation. It is not clear if the police located the dog or a stranger returned Abby to her owner discreetly.
