"This land is mine. God gave this land to me..." This song of yesteryear , "Exodus" is popularized by Matt Monro, whose real name is Terence Edward. He's an English crooner who became popular in 1960s and 1970s. Thus, he's known as "The Man with the Golden Voice". I usually sing this song during our social gatherings with my fellow school prinicipal. And also when we have party at home or a family reunion The following are some meaningful lyrics of the song, "Exodus": This land is mine, God gave this land to me This brave and ancient land to me And when the morning sun reveals her hills and plain Then I see a land where children can run free Do you have a favorite old song that you used to sing in a social gathering? Yes. If you could listen to it, I don't know what reaction you may have.

Matt Monro is still one of my favorite singers. It's sad he passed away early in life (50 years old)
