I Am a Childless Bachelor for the Next Few Days

My wife and my two daughters flew out east yesterday so they could visit her side of the family (I stayed behind because, at the time we were making the plans/buying the tickets, my dad wasn't well and I figured it was best not to be 1000 miles away). Other than dealing with the two cats, who are obviously missing the girls, it has gone OK so far. I made a pot of chili yesterday, which should take care of several meals and wound up watching a black-and-white movie (Strangers on a Train) I knew my wife would not enjoy watching with me. Of course, I am going to be at work most of the time so it's really not that big of an adjustment.

I am sure you will miss them. How long are they going to be gone for?

Glad they are enjoying their trip, maybe you can enjoy your time as well. The cats will miss them as well.
