Its a beautiful story told by the mahouts of the Elephants, but not mine to tell. During our latest travels in and around Swaziland, Africa - we visited the Bayete Zulu Game Reserve where my hubby enjoyed the up-close and full interaction with the Elephants Rambo, Rachael and Jabulani. If you would like to read more about them, just google their combined names and the stories will appear. I am not one to like animals up close, but my hubby loved every minute of the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Luckily for him, I got to hold the camera and capture the scene so he can enjoy everytime he tells the tales. Some interesting facts: Did you know that *the African Elephant's ears are in the shape of Africa? *A mahout is an Elephant minder that carries no gun nor any other weapon while caring for the elephants. *Sadly, at the end of their lives, elephants normally just starve to death as they have no means to chew their food anymore. “They say that somewhere in Africa the elephants have a secret grave where they go to lie down, unburden their wrinkled gray bodies, and soar away, light spirits at the end.” ? Robert R. McCammon

Nice information about the elephants and the African adage at the end. Those tusks are huge!
