Kim Kardashian is an influential person in the White House?

I think it's funny that Kim Kardashian has access to the White House. The former porn star and (current, I think) reality show star is talking to the President about prisoners' rights, or something along those lines. It's fitting, as the only people I knew who watched "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," or whatever it's called, we inmates at the women's prison I used to work at. What do you think of Kim Kardashian? What would you do if you found her in your bed? I would call the police, ask her to leave, launder my sheets, and disinfect my house.
The reality star made another trip to the nation’s capitol to discuss the First Step Act, a prison-reform law.

@TheHorse Your post made me laugh. Look....I don't know much about Kim. Or the whole family to be honest. I have seen some episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians out of pure boredom and I wish I could say I knew them personally before judging and forming an opinion on them. If they have ever done good in their lives, then awesome, well done to them. But I also see a lot of bad that they are promoting which I won't mention here. BUT I'm still confused on why they are hyped up so much. Actually to be fair there are many celebrities that I don't see the big deal. They are just people. But Kim to be in the White House doing whatever the heck she is doing? The White House is almost turning into a Celebrity House. I feel like a lot of issues are not being addressed and if they are, they aren't being addressed seriously. IF by any chance Kim is helping good people then marvellous but in a perfect world, Orange face should be doing this himself without an illuminati puppet hanging off him. Though he is a bit of a puppet himself possibly so I don't know. I don't have much positive remarks to say about Kim or Trump. It almost feels like we will be seeing clowns walking into the White House to perform soon....though in saying that, I personally believe a lot of what happens is scripted for one reason or another to persuade the masses anyway. To sum up, I don't know Kim personally nor do I know the oompa loompa personally but either one of them seem the wrong fit to be in the White House. I sometimes feel like I'm in a long episode of The Simpsons. Weird characters who we can't take seriously. OH and not to mention Kanye West chilling with Trump, what the hell is that about? I think they should all exit the White House and go back to Hollyweird where they belong.

You have hit the nail on the head (many times). None of these clowns should be in the White House. Maybe Trump is trying to get more poor/relatives in prison votes. I don't know. Buy we really are witnessing a freak show.

@VivaLaDani13 Madonna was one of my least favorite humans in the '80s, but she marketed herself well. What passes for music these days mortifies me, and is a big part of why I try to teach kids "real" music early.

@TheHorse Thank you for reading. Sorry I think I ranted there lol Your post was the first post I saw straight after waking up and worried I wasn't making sense. But yeah I don't have many great things to say about a majority of celebrities. I mean no offence to your president, though something tells me you don't mind but I still only view him as a celebrity. Not a president. A lot of people in the spotlight make me laugh or shake my head yet at the same time worry me with how many fans blindly follow them. A lot of movies or music that come out, yes catchy but I'm not blind to what is really being said to us. A lot of these puppets are in my bad books. And I wouldn't shed a tear if they got hit by a wrecking ball. Harsh I know but it's true. Annoying enough, people will view my comment due to "jealously." But nope. Why would I want to be jealous of these people who are clearly involved in some freaky evil crap. I hear what they say in their interviews and what they admit to or jokingly admit to. I read yesterday that Madonna's tour tickets aren't selling as quickly as it used to and it made me smile. Couldn't care less about these morons.

it's sad that scientist, farmers, who build the nation are ignored and TV models and degenerate people are influential... god save this planet

i saw that'n the news last eve (was waitin' fer the weather 's we'd a thunderboomer buildin'). i reckon one could say there's more "me, too" movements than e'er 'fore. whilst i do feel that folks who've served their time deserve to be givin' the benefit 'f the doubt 'n a lil help startin' new lives, i don't feel she'd be much'f a rep fer such?? then 'gain, perhaps she knows 'er fake beauty 'll fade soon 'n 's thoughts 'f 't the very least a position'n the white house (no, not the horizontal kind, lol). if'n she made 't 'nto my house, i'd say good fer 'er. 'tis a brave soul who'd try such'n these parts.

The people that she appeals to are mostly inmates and their kin. Maybe, as her "beauty" fades, she will try to keep herself "relevant" to them in new ways.
