Chandler (AZ) police officer uses words of kindness to save a life

As we all know these types of stories where a police officer saves the life of any man or woman who usually goes to a bridge and tries to jump off to end their life, the police officer usually offers words of encouragement to prevent a tragic event from happening. In the case of Chandler Police Officer Aaron Little, he is being called a hero for using the power of encouragement when a young man was on a bridge on highway 101 near Phoenix ready to jump off. Officer Little insisted to the 26 year old man, that he wanted to hug the young man. The power of words from Officer Little was powerful enough to make the young man change his mind to climb over the railing in an attempt to end his life. Officer Little kept his word and when the 26 year old man went to hug Officer Little, he cried that a police officer showed him some compassion instead of judging him in his time of need. The incident in question took place in March.
