Fathers Day ~ Full Moon

Wanted to take a moment to wish all of the fathers on here a very Happy Father's Day. In the US, we celebrate it this Sunday, June 16th.
This will be the second year without my Dad. But I have a lifetime of memories. I know many of you have lost your fathers as well. I am sorry for your loss, but remember the memories are forever. Hold onto the good times.
June’s full moon is called the Full Strawberry Moon. It will rise around sunset on Sunday, June 16, and then set in the west around sunrise on the 17th. This is another happy time, a full moon! Hopefully we will not have clouds and I will be able to see the moon.
I found this link that shows when the different countries celebrate Father's Day. I know a lot of you are from other countries, so this should be helpful to some.

I love a full moon and find them so romantic. We will be having a big Father's Day celebration at our younger son's in-laws. Our son has two wonderful fathers.
Our older son will be celebrating at his usual place - on the hockey rink and ice skating rink. lol

@CarolDM My husband wasn't too thrilled sharing his special day, but our DIL wants to be with her father, too, so it's the best solution. Besides, we've celebrated with them before and always have a lot of fun and many hearty laughs. Both sets of inlaws are wonderful and we feel blessed to have such warm and loving members in our small family.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope the day is alright anyway.
Stuff is fairly strained with my "dad" at the moment. I will have to spend some time with him, I suppose. sorry if that sounds mean - but the last time I physically saw him he was screaming at me and disowned me. (he was drunk and had been taking fistfulls of pills) Since then he has apologized but I've gotten tired of his mind games through the years.

@CarolDM Its true, time doesn't heal all wounds. It changes things, maybe, but it doesn't heal.
I suppose I will have to go see my dad today. I'm just tired of his refusal to get help for his mental illness and his abuse of my mom and myself.
