"Kamote" is a local dialect name for sweet potato. It's usually sold in the market especially during market day in our small city.
Today is Saturday. It's our market day and I come across this root vegetable which we call "Kamote". This is edible tuberous root. It has a smooth skin of different color from yellow, orange, red, brown, purple, and beige. So as with Its flesh ranges from beige through white, red, pink, violet, yellow, orange, and purple color.
When eaten raw, they're rich in complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber and beta-carotene (a provitamin A carotenoid), with moderate contents of other micronutrients like vitamin B5, vitamin B6 and manganese.
When cooked by baking, they're rich in vitamin C.

Is that so you eat it raw? That's good for we're eating them raw. They're crunchy when fresh or newly harvested.
