How do you handle homesick when it strikes you as you are away from home and the loved ones? Homesick makes me sad and worried. If homesickness keeps striking me, will it be destroying me physically? Last Friday I went back to my hometown again due to this homesickness. How often do you feel homesick when you are away? Can you handle it quickly?

I feel homesick especially when I myself am being hard up while I am away from my family.

Since moving out, I am not homesick because my parents come visit me and I visit them, we're only a drive away ~ about 40 minutes if there is no traffic.
Are you far away from your hometown?

Yes I am. 12 hours' travel back and that is very tiring and costs money as well.

I made new friends so I would not be alone all the time.

Well if you travel to work for example you have to ignore that word because you will never be happy and cannot focus in anything.Yes I can handle if I am determined to earn for my family for a living.

It seems homesickness strikes almost everyone who is away from their families.

There must be something else that makes you not feel that way.
