Kicking the boys off of videos / myLot

I know if I don’t kick the boys off of videos games they will try to play them all day long. I gave them roughly an hour. I don’t want them to o think jsur because they finished there summer work suck as reading that the video games and tablets are going to be on all day. It’s not. Don’t won’t to rot there still developing little brains. (Lol..) I’m going to kick them outside soon I’m just waiting for some of that summer rain from last night to soak up and make the sidewalk and grass dry.

My kids always had an hour limit on video games. I was pretty strict about that. I wanted to make sure they did other things too. Tried to give them balance in their life. I think they turned out pretty well!

@moffittjc haha yeah! They went to a neighbors house and brought there blow up beach water ball that sprays water. Our hoses is stuck right now so they have to use it in other peoples yard. As long as that neighbor doesn’t mine I’m all for it.

Video games should be limited. Its good to play outdoors. Luckily my children are not into video games. They both love to be outside playing some real physical games.

Our of my 3 kids my middle one is lot like his dad and he likes mental things so video games is kind of his thing. But I don’t let him on it all day. I force him to go out and play with other kids. He is pretty good with when I tell him to put it up. The time limit helps.

Balance... I play video games, but I make sure that I have lots of things to do that keeps me from sitting all day long!

My kids are 4, 6, and 8 and then there 11 year old cousin. They have a time limit and they can’t play on the systems till they do summer school work that I have set up. That takes them at least 3 hours to do so. They get a break to do as they like. I limit the video games. I don’t have the money to take the out to play some where and not the neighbor kids around since some parents have work there kids go to summer camps or daycare. So a little video game time isn’t a big deal. I played a lot longer on videos when I was there age then I let them have.

@amadeo the love of visor games is all there daddy I’m by far not a gamer. I do let them enjoy age appropriate video games and they only get an hour other wise they need to find something else to do.
