I would say shoprite for the quality of food but i have to also save-o-lot because you can really rack up on those days you really need to budget.

I shop around at all the local stores to capture all of the deals. I also do this to prevent Wal Mart from having a monopoly in the area. There is only one major chain grocery, Wal-Mart superstore, and a locally owned grocery in my town. I shop at all three! I use coupons if they are beneficial. I find that often times I save more by buying generic brands that I would have saved buying the name brand and using the coupon! (this is especially true with cereals). Tricks: I have learned which days all three stores reduce their meat and go on those days to the discounted meat section! I buy it and freeze it! GREAT SAVINGS! The meat is perfectly fine.

I do almost all of my grocery shopping at Kroger. I do use coupons and try to match my coupons with the current sales.

The coupon business is not popular in India, though some MNC's have. A few poeple bring the coupons to the store. There is no tricks. Some stores offer prices below MRP and some exactly at MRP prices. Some products in a store is available at a scheme price 10 to 15% less than MRP.

I dont believe in luck. Before I answer this question, I like to think about, why this thread was created? And what was the real motive for this question? When I find nothing wrong, immediately I prefer to answer. However I like questions on science and politics but don't ignore other members requests. I'm thankful to mylot for giving such opportunity to share our views with international members.

I like wal-mart for the prices, but they are always so busy,if I have the extra money, I would go somewhere else just so I don't have to deal with all the people.

I hate grocery shopping so I usually order online and get it delivered from Asda or Tesco. Asda usually because they are cheaper.

I like price chopper because they double coupons, and I use lots of them, my main trick with coupons is to use them on a sale item to make the item free or close to it, I get a lot free with one dollar coupons, an item goes on sale for 2.00 or less and a 1.00 coupon gets doubled to two dollars (unless the item is on sale for less then the coupon is doubled to the sale price of the item) making it free.

I shop very simply and usually avoid processed foods, which are mainly what the coupons are for. I don't use many new products, either... like swifters and self-cleaning showers. I do use coupons and rebates if they are for something I already use that are a bit more commercial, like cosmetics. My cleaning products I purchase at my all-time favorite store.. The Dollar Store! Everything a dollar! And I still remember dime stores. Not that everything was a dime... but even the name. And before that, they were the five and dimes. But for now... I love my Dollar Store!

My fav store is Walmarts and Sainsbury, they allow the usage of food coupons and the discount coupons as well. Their price list is very much cost effective and the food products are of good quality. If you plan to buy some groceries in bulk like for some wedding function or grand celebration then you can bargain on the price with the Sainsbury or Tesco. If you are in need of some cheap items price wise not quality wise ask your friends who are in navy or armed forces to help you get some stuff from Commisarry.

I love Henry's, Trader Joes, Mother's Market, & Ralphs. I use couplons at Ralphs because they double! OOOHH, but wait! There are several things that are much cheaper at Target/Walmart so sometimes I will drive my happy self over there!

My favorite store is Aldi's. They don't take coupons though. For my coupons and such I prefer Meijers.
