Rains did come this afternoon

It was about a week ago when the weather bureau had declared rainy season has arrived already. But after their declaration the weather turned to a summer like weather here and no rains did not come for the past week until today where the rains seems to be strong.
It even affected our water supply since they even make scheduled water interruptions because there were no rains filling up the dams that supply the water to our city. They scheduled the interruptions by areas that were affected by this shortage.
I just heard from the news that the government is planning on cloud seeding to induce rains near the dam site so the water levels would rise up again. Hopefully this is it but I do not think that it will fillup the dam with this kind of rain. If only the rains we are having now could be sent in the dams than just pour in my place.

Everyone is hoping for the rain to fill the dams up. But in the past several days rains just tried to pour in on a regular basis bur the volume it needs to raise the water level is just not enough. Mother nature is not yet ready to give her water to us I guess.

we would have thunderstorms in the afternoon/early evening once in a while.
water-wise, the pressure would decrease from lunch time to 5pm.
but to be sure, i still store water in pitchers, always fill the 2 kettles and now put one big container in the laundry area and filled it with water.

It is hard when there's no water. The effect of deforestation, etc, I hope it will rain more so the dams will be full again.
