Does chilled water quench thirst better?

It's been an unusually hot summer. I usually drink water at room temperature, but this summer I've been reading for cold, chilled water from the refrigerator quite often. Does it quench thirst better? Does it actually help to cool down the water (considering its about 250 ml of water that we drink only)?

I usually drink cold water during summer because it feels good to me, I don't like drinking not cold water because it feels like I'm not drinking water

I rarely prefer it, but this summer I've been taking a lot of chilled water.

Yes. I feel it will quench the thirst better though chill water is not good for health.

Why is it not good for health?

Since all you need is rehydrate, water temperature never makes a difference. But chilled water is far more refreshing.
