Strawberry Fields Forever

It had to be this Beatles song as my song choice today. The summer is rolling in and suddenly I have a terrible craving for strawberries in every shape, size, and form except for a blue strawberry which you see in the free photo above. I just like the idea of a blue strawberry. So tomorrow it will be time to get out and hunt down some strawberries. If I cannot find any right away I know I can always stop by the Baskin and Robbins near me and get strawberry ice cream.
“Strawberry Fields Forever” by The Beatles was written by John Lennon. Lennon wrote this song in Almeria, Spain and it was inspired by his memories about a children’s home called Strawberry Field near his home in Liverpool where he went to play in the garden.
Who remembers this song? Who else is craving strawberries?

we used to grow strawberries in the garden in Latvia @andriaperry guess for now I will have to make do with strawberry ice cream.

Strawberry season in Florida is March so I am not sure you will find any local ones but up here they are in season.
