For A Brave Lady.....

Your white painted walls in your house You were almost quieter than a church mouse I saw in your face what they put you through They thought themselves right and did what they did However you lived on You saw the trauma through In the setting of the sun we sat together just me and you I did not yet speak your language But this did not really matter I understood where you were coming from We had a little spanish natter In all truth you were a "warrior woman" in disguise No one ever heard or saw your tears No one ever heard your cries Yet I saw it all in your face You were telling to me without saying a word In this world you were a very wise woman In this world that can be so absurd. All my own words and the music is nice and light much love to this lady much love and light. This is to a relative of Jorge´s who went through so much in the Spanish Civil War and she got tarred and feathered and they ripped all of her clothes and her lovely hair shaved off. This is for the brave woman who did not say a word but said it all without uttering anything in particular. This is for this to never happen ever again and to honour and a tribute to her courage and bravery.

I was sad as well you know but she had a quiet strength that not many have. She did not speak out against the ones who did that to her to save her husband and children as they could have been shot at that time. Glad you like the music thank you.

She must be brave enough to hold her tears without dropping.

Thing was that if she had spoken out against them her family would have been in danger from all sorts of things. It was an experience for her that she never forgot logically it was always there. She got paraded around the village when they did that to her. I don´t know how she survived it.

@Sreekala Things that happened here Sree and I just want to speak out for her. She had no less than 11 children I cannot even begin to imagine how she coped with it all.

She was very brave and no one but herself really knew what she was up against and again she had become the victim of the war itself like so many other women at that time.

@ShifaLk To have so many children was more than enough I think that she did have to fight all the way and times were very hard for women in this country and because its seen as a country of tourism and nothing else it all get forgotten the women who made this country greater.
