I Hope So,But.....

Today I am in Raipur 320 kms from my town.I arrived here last evening by car to attend the the wedding and pre-wedding rituals of my niece.
Back home my own town is having heavy rains since yesterday.But here in Raipur it is a sunny day.
I don't know whether we in this city are fortunate enough to have sunny days at least till 25 th of June.If it starts raining, it would spoil all functions.
I hope the weather continues to be sunny for next five days,but you know how unpredictable weather is.

I hope it stays like this till the wedding gets over. Rain can be a spoilsport in such cases. I hope it is not so hot. Too much of heat can be other spoiler. So let's pray that it is pleasant and little cloudy but no rain.

@arunima25 Thanks.Ever since I received the news about heavy rain in my town,I'm worried.The venue of the wedding is four kms from my sister's house.Me and other guests can get there by car,but you know how inconvenient and messy it would be.There is still signs of imminent rain,but you know how unpredictable weather is this year.

@amitkokiladitya May your prayer be heard.Last night it did not rain,today also we had a sunny noon,but nobody knows what will happen at night.The weather these days is so unpredictable.

haha just thinking how human beings think. We need situations according to our convenience.
I am not blaming you, just said the common nature of us. Is monsoon started in that place?
There was heavy rain on hubby's brother's daughter's marriage time. It was on rainy season so no one can be blamed. But one day before the marriage day, once the function started, my mother in law, put a whole coconut in the Well, (the coconut will be an offer for Lord Ganesha) surprisingly the rain stropped till the coconut has taken out from the Well after the marriage functions. I do not know how it worked, or it just a coincidence, I am not sure. She did this way, two of her grand daughter's marriage and both time it worked.
I am wishing Sunny days in your side for the smooth functioning of all rituals. Wishing her a happy married life.

@Sreekala You are right.We human beings want convenience.Rain ,if it happens,would spoil the ceremony and we don't want it to happen.But we can't prevent it either in case it happens.So the only option we have is wish,pray and you know what...Monsoon seems to have arrived in our town with a bang.Raipur is only 320 kms from my town.Covering 320 kms is not a big deal for the monsoon.That's why we are concerned.

@Sreekala It is now going to be 2.30 a.m.and I have woken up to have a glass of water.My apprehensions have come true.It is raining -in fact,pouring outside my window.I can hear the thunder of clouds as well.....What has happened has happened.I'm feeling sleepy now.

Unfortunately, the weather conditions have changed on all continents, nor the rain is as it used to be, we are having heavy storm on two occasions tonight, now is sunny but windy and temperature is halved

@LowRiderX Here the monsoon has arrived.Two days back we had a heavy downpour.The next day also it rained cats and dogs for the whole night.Today again we have a heavily cloudy day and rain is expected by late evening or night.

Well normally we do like good rains after a very hot weather. Yet at other times, we do hope that it does not rains or rains very lightly only.
