Teeny-boppy teen-age flicks - done with that since my daughters turned adults. A welcome relief. Yet, yesterday, I did find my self lingering long enough on netllix's The Perfect Date. If you are willing to believe me, the clicking was accidental, and the buffering took time I couldn't exit at once, thus, I listened to the first narration. Wow, interesting lines. So, I watched. Ivy League did the trick. As predicted, it was for teens. But here's a spoiler, there's a father in the background whose role seemed unimportant but in the end, he declares something like giving up his career for his son. It was a sacrifice on his part, for he was a writer, a visionary writer. His vision paid off. His son is the perfect date.
To save up for college, Brooks Rattigan (Noah Centineo) creates an app where anyone can pay him to play the perfect stand-in boyfriend for any occasion. Watc...

I think you will find this movie dull. Check on The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. That one is gripping for me.

@eileenleyva I have seen it already. It's a true story. The boy has saved the entire community of his windmill invention to irrigate the dryland for their crops for no formal education because they're poor.

@Nakitakona Makes me grateful for my blessings. If the good Lord created me in that situation, I would have been first casualty. I love that boy.

Missed me? Yay. I like that very much. Yay. Yay. My daughter asked for my company again and made me sit at the coffee shop where serious bar reviewers occupy every other seat, jackets showing Panther Law University of Southern Philippines Foundation. Wow, they were a serious lot, noses on books. I dozed to slumber even with my mug of latte. It was cold in the mall. Will post a discussion on a book I started reading 2016 and I am halfway thru. It's about the greatest story ever told. Just a pocket book and most interesting. Just that, my eyes fail me now, reading is difficult.

I would rate the movie for general patronage. Even parents could learn parenting in this movie,

A good movie for teens in search of themselves. Netflix got it right on this one.

Yes. The script was really good. I didn't wait for the credits, though, and didn't get the names of the writers. They are commendable,
