In times of adversity
Hearing a lot of gossip and slander
Gossip about other people
They would rather tender to what is negative
They would rather give a load of importance to what is not
Another woman who lived where I lived
We both took all the gossip in our stride
Its not to say you would not wonder why they were like that
Me and the other woman would look out for each other
We would give each other a thumbs up and for the others
For the others the gossipers just turn our backs on them and away
Because we did not stick our nose in other people´s business
Because we did not do that
We were labelled and slammed to hell and back
Its not my nature to be in everyone else´s house
To run others down is not my idea of fun
They called her the French woman and me the foreign one
All my own words and the "French Woman" and me took a lot of stick just for minding our own business.
They created a whole mafia clan against us which was totally ridiculous to both of us.
The French woman and me stood our ground and she took it much harder that what I did.
Because her real home was on the border of France she was no more French than what I could ever be.

Any instrument that makes music is a must for this world and we had a spanish flamenco singer that experimented with other instruments from other countries with his songs and he included the sitar in one of his songs.
He was very much a bohemian type of guy..
Here is the link you might not like or understand this kind of stuff but flamenco has its roots in the Moors that once lived here and others.

They really are a miserable lot of people who live there and they are only happy when they can talk about you.
They can please themselves if they want.

Yes managed to leave it thank goodness and they are still the same as before and they don´t change.
Yes me and the other lady managed to keep together although she took it more badly than me.

A few of them have very nasty tempers.
I stood my cool with one she said give it to me NOW and I just said NO and she flew into a rage that is how those people are.
She saw me as an outsider yet she was an outsider herself.
